Delete your SMART SERVICE account

SMART SERVICE is the customer app by HIIVO TECH for dealerships that use SMART DMS. You can ask us to delete your SMART SERVICE account and the data linked to it at any time. In the app, Profile > Delete account opens this page.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to sales@hiivotech.com with the subject "Delete my SMART SERVICE account". If you can, send it from the email address your dealership has on file.
  2. In the email, include:
    • your full name;
    • your login ID (it starts with MOB-) or your username;
    • the name of your dealership;
    • the mobile number your dealership has on file.
  3. We will check that the request really comes from you. We may call or message the mobile number your dealership has on file. We will never ask for your password.
  4. We delete your account within 30 days and send you an email to confirm.

You can also make the request in person at your dealership's service desk.

What we delete

  • Your SMART SERVICE app account: your login ID, username, password and email verification.
  • All your sign-in sessions. The app will be signed out on every phone.

What we keep, and why

  • Your dealership's sales, service, invoice, warranty and loyalty records about you and your vehicle. The dealership needs them to honour your warranty and service history, and the law requires it to keep invoices and accounting records. After your account is deleted, these records can no longer be seen through the app.
  • Security logs of past sign-ins. These are deleted automatically after 1 year.

If you also want your dealership to delete personal details that it is not required to keep, say so in your email. We will pass the request to your dealership.

Loyalty points: you need the app account to see and redeem your points. Please use or ask about any remaining points before you request deletion.

Delete some data without deleting your account

To have specific information corrected or removed while keeping your account, email sales@hiivotech.com and tell us what you want changed.
